Hot off the press - the Computational Optics Lab recently published two new papers that we're excited about:
1. We have created a highly parallelized detection strategy for diffuse correlation spectroscopy using a single-photon avalanche diode array. This new method allows us to detect cerebral hemodynamics down to 10 ms sampling rates, which is significantly faster than anything previously demonstrated: https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.07.08.193433v1
2. A new method to create an "intelligent" microscope to automatically classify images, with higher accuracy than a standard microscope, using jointly specimen illumination and point-spread function engineering: https://arxiv.org/pdf/2006.15404.pdf
