Two new papers on deep-tissue blood flow imaging by Shiqi and team

July 11, 2022

Congratulations to Shiqi and the rest of the team, who just published two papers on a new way to capture images and video of blood flow dynamics deep within tissue. The technique, termed parallelized diffuse correlation spectroscopy, shines laser light into tissue and directs scattered light via multiple fibers to a single-photon avalanche diode array. Detected data is then processed with novel machine learning-inspired algorithms to create images and video of flow dynamics. Please check out the new papers here and here!
