The school year has now begun and Dr. Horstmeyer is busy teaching Machine Learning and Imaging - a class that aims to teach students how they can improve the performance of their deep learning algorithms by jointly optimizing their imaging systems for better performance. Here is some recent news from within the lab:
- Two new PhD students have officially joined the lab - welcome Colin and Shiqi!
- Two new Masters students have also begun some research projects - weclome Vinayak and Xiang!
- Our optics tables are now pretty much covered with our experiments - good job everyone!
