SafineAI, a new start-up based on technology developed by the Computational Optics Lab, has been awarded the Microsoft Start-up Prize at Duke University. This prize, which includes over $100K of support from Microsoft services and other assistance, will be used to help the company launch its computational microscope technology for improved diagnostics in India. Congratulations to Amey, Pratik, Pavan, Kanghyun and the other members in the lab who helped make this happen!
